The Boy Scout program at Trinity meets every Tuesday at 7 PM. Our Boy Scout program is led by Scoutmaster Charles Lowe and has been active since 1993. The Boy Scout program at Trinity is very active with an average of 30 days & nights camping and an average of 80 miles hiked on the Appalachian Trail each year. The Troop participates in all district programs like the Fall Camporee, the Continuous Campfire, Klondike Derby and Scout Expo at Bristol Motor Speedway.  The Expo is where the Scouts show off what they have learned and share it with others.  There is also summer camp at Camp Davey Crockett for 6 days and nights and a week long trip in the Smokey Mountains. Every trip is used for the boys to earn their needed merit badges and just have fun.  Active members are also eligible for discounted spring Bush race, NHRA drag racing and Craftsman Truck series tickets. From time to time there are other opportunities available too.

At Troop 111 it is our goal that every boy earns the rank of Eagle.  Currently Troop 111 has had 4 Eagle Scouts and are always working to ensure each boy that wants it has the opportunity.  The patrols up through 1^st class work as a group; with classroom and hands on training and advancement.  The Troop at Trinity has some of the best leaders in the district and can be seen on the Leadership page.

Scouting is not only about the fun stuff, but about community service as well. The boys always seem to enjoy working, and often don’t even realize it’s work. Each year we have the Scouting for Food drive in November.  One Saturday, we drop off bags to area homes for food, and the next Saturday we go and pick up the bags.  All of the food is boxed and sent to the Second Harvest Food Bank and is used to help families in our area.
